Good Evening!!

I want to start this blog with a praise before I post the request that I have. I have just returned from a little bit of time in Atlanta. It was great to spend time with family. I got to spend a lot of time with Drake even babysitting him yesterday. Those of you with kids or nieces or nephews can totally understand how you just love spending time with the little ones and just marveling at how much they learn from day to day. He amazes me more every time I am with him. It was so cute today when I left although it ripped at my heart strings. He wanted to go with me so bad. I would have let him too had anyone said I could. :) Anyway...I just had to praise my time with family.

On to my prayer request, most of you know of my best friend Amanda. She had a beautiful baby girl in January and then found out in May that she was expecting again in December. They went for a check up yesterday and could not find a heart beat. The doctor realized that the baby had stopped developing at about 8 weeks and for some reason had not been miscarried. He had to go in surgically and remove it. Please keep them in your prayers. They are handling it as well as they possibly could but could use prayer during this difficult time.

I will be keeping them in my prayers. Being a mom, I know that would have to be the hardest thing to go through. I do have to add to this prayer list b/c its related sorta in the same way. My sister, Alicia, is pregnant again and she was spotting some. The blood work and ultrasound tests came back in a positive result that the Doctor thinks the baby and Alicia are doing fine. He has told her to get off her feet when she can, no stressing, and no strenuous activity. So far, this is a blessing, but they really need the prayers, b/c my mother had a miscarriage for her 2nd child. I really don't want this to happen to her. So please pray for Alicia and the baby.
